Adding more usage of technology will be great especially while they are learning. My students love to play games. What a great way to trick them. :)Dena Moncriefhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15651547657228230587noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4037778452239052690.post-34758903292495777062010-09-13T17:22:47.436-04:002010-09-13T17:22:47.436-04:00This sounds like a great tool. I think the testing yourself feature allows them immediate feedback on whether they understand the concept. I think my students would also love the games feature.

Thanks for sharing such a great tool! I love to hear about kids having fun while learning.Trina Deboree https://www.blogger.com/profile/14845181244364613585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4037778452239052690.post-49789846962897917912010-09-13T11:24:05.889-04:002010-09-13T11:24:05.889-04:00We have a program that we use called Moodle that d...We have a program that we use called Moodle that does a lot of what Quizlet does, but Quizlet seems much more user friendly and less labor intensive than Moodle. I teach Language arts and am always looking for a new way to introduce vocabulary. Thanks for the Web 2.0 tool. I am definitely logging in to give it a test run.mrpeglowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04007425082739798777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4037778452239052690.post-24224431013091765002010-09-12T18:37:58.017-04:002010-09-12T18:37:58.017-04:00I love it! This is a big deal for 7th graders. I can't wait to see more of it in action.Leland Krieghhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17601277805469704923noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4037778452239052690.post-52554750695331534462010-09-11T18:04:58.361-04:002010-09-11T18:04:58.361-04:00Bruchetta,

I especially like that it seems to be so convenient to use to help reinforce vocabulary. I teach English/Language Arts, and working in vocabulary is always a constant struggle. I am always looking for new ways to encourage my students to study their words, and I think this site will be a huge help. Thanks for the information!Ashleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11092040139697919676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4037778452239052690.post-88928912653104040852010-09-11T17:19:21.841-04:002010-09-11T17:19:21.841-04:00Is it possible to use vocabulary from what another...Is it possible to use vocabulary from what another teacher posted? I'd like to use Quizlet for my U.S. History students as well as for my own enrichment. Sounds like students would need to have an account to access your vocabulary words as a teacher? Is it possible for students to access Quizlet from home?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4037778452239052690.post-16238517341613563572010-09-11T16:31:23.363-04:002010-09-11T16:31:23.363-04:00Quizlet sounds like a tool that would be useful fo...Quizlet sounds like a tool that would be useful for students to use for FCAT review. At our high school we are always trying to keep the students active in their studies for the state test and the students are bored with the practice guides they are assigned. An interactive site in which the students are learning in a fun manner is a way to wake up our test reviews for sure.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
